How to fix an LED light bulb?

  1. Cut off the power

It is the first and most important step to do before fixing an LED light bulb. First, turn off the light switch and flip the circuit breaker for the light bulb. This is a preventive step that helps you minimize the risk if the circuit shorts out.

  • Connect The Bulb to The Wiring

For this step, you need a ladder to access the socket. Your light bulb might use a traditional 3-pronged socket. Then connect the wires from the socket that comes down from the ceiling or the wall to the LED light bulb housing. Wire up the two cords so it’s tucked away.

  • Insert The Housing at It’s Place

Use your fingertips, grip the trims of the housing, and reinsert it in the wall or ceiling. The retention spring will fix the housing firmly in its place.

  • Switch on The LED Bulb

Flip on the breaker and switch on the LED bulb switch. Now your LED bulb is ready to emit the light.
